I need help with a little computer problem?

I am trying to rename the main folder to all my pictures. Right now it is titled "2010-2011" but I want to change it and whenever I type in the new name, this pops up. "Action can not be completed because the file or folder in being used in another application" but it's not opened in anything else. I'm not really sure about what to do. Any thoughts?
