Thumbsplus 8 no delete in slideshow?

I just installed/upgraded to Thumbsplus 8 (because this program has a sort by similarity feature) and while viewing my photo's through the slideshow feature, I used to be able to delete while viewing them in slideshow with TP7 but now I can't anyone else have this problem I've clicked the allow folder options (delete, copy, rename) I've tried setting it to give confirmation when deleting. I don't recall having any other options in TP7.
