Cant see files in folder?

Hello. I copied files to my computer from a standalone drive (if that matters). I have the folder on my PC. If I right-click, properties, it tells me 2,130 files, 3.19 GB which is correct But why cant I see them (the folder atrribute "hidden" is not checked) I really appreciate everyone's help ...Thank You ...Jo
